    One of the most critical phases of the design journey is curating the furniture, fixtures and equipment that will make your project truly special. Our team has access to an exclusive resource library of trade only vendors that we will use to design your space. We will handle placing the orders and coordinating delivery & installation when the time is right.

    Home should be an experience. The key to this experience is to optimize the layout and functionality of your space. Our team will analyze the existing floor plan and seek opportunities to modify the flow and efficiency of the space. Modifications may include adding, moving and/or removing doors, doorways and windows. We take many factors into consideration from activities within the room to the natural lighting. Our goal is to create tailored space plan solutions to meet your specific project needs.

The Fine & Dandy Design Co. Approach

  • An initial orientation process in which Fine & Dandy Design Co. will familiarize their team with the requirements of the space, and Client’s desired program requirements. Develop the concept design narrative for the Project. The narrative may include a “look book” with imagery to set the tone for finishes and materials.

  • From the direction of the approved Concept Design, Fine & Dandy Design Co. will further develop the design so that a cohesive narrative is defined. This will be achieved with preliminary sketches and plans along with proposed materials and finishes.

  • The schematic drawings and documents will be further developed into detailed floor plans and elevations along with FF&E and finish selections. Material samples, swatches and clippings may be presented for approvals.

  • Fine & Dandy Design Co. will assist Contractor and Client in preparation of construction documents as it relates to the design intent areas with review and commentary only. Our team will review Architect’s construction direction and review, redline and comment on architectural drawings to verify conformance with the design intent.

  • Our team will act as the point of contact in coordination of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) purchasing and installation. Our team will establish a schedule for purchasing and installation as required for the design intent and project schedule.

  • Fine & Dandy Design Co. team leaders will perform a final site walkthrough with client to ensure satisfaction that all design goals have been achieved. A written punch list will be developed for any and all items that need addressed for project closure.
